Plaza de Armas at night
Our time in Cuzco is coming to a close. We have been here for about a month. We kept busy somehow and can´t figure out where the time went. The past week we have been scrambling around trying to see all the places we missed and do all the things we haven´t done. We really have come to love the town and will miss knowing our way around. We still look like tourists though and get asked everyday if we would like a massage, manicure, pedicure, or even waxing on every street headed down to the main Plaza. Taxis still stop and reverse their beat up cars when they see us coming out of our apartment, hoping we are lost and need an overcharged ride to the airport.
There are so many cool little courtyards, like this one, in the most unsuspecting places around Cusco
Plaza de San Blas (a five minute walk from our apartment). Some kids enjoying a game of futbol in the afternoon sun.
A celebration for the patron saint of San Blas. They danced around the Plaza with these masks and bells on their boots.
A little park up the street from our apartment. We love to do our homework and practice Spanish when the sun is out here.
Enjoying a fancy breakfast at a restuarant recommended by a chef from Santa Fe. Yes, it was well worth it.
um, hellOOOOOO, this is painfully out-of-date.
