Although we were still adjusting to the altitude (11,000 ft is no small jump for girls from sea level), we ventured out to sample some local cervezas and check out the local foosball talent. Unfotunately, the locals were more interested in playing a game which involves tossing coins into a frog's mouth. We read somewhere that this game originated with Inca royals tossing gold coins into Lake Titicaca hoping to attract frogs they believed to possess magical powers. Whatever the case, we enjoyed some great games of foos, live music, and Cristal (a PBR-esque beer we unintentionally ordered...).
