¡Bienvenidos!
Hola family and friends! Welcome to our blog! We have had many requests to keep people informed about what we're up to here in South America. This blog will be our attempt to do so. Enjoy the stories and pictures, and feel free to email us if you want to know more! Chau!

Rub-a-dub-dub
There are basically two options when it comes to doing laundry in Cuzco. You can bring your clothes to the nearest Lavandería (there are at least a couple on every block in town), where they charge 3 soles (about $1) for every kg of clothing you need washed. Or, you can do your laundry at home. We have taken advantage of both options, although the facilities in our little apartment aren´t necessarily ideal for washing. Since we have no good sink or bucket, we´ve taken to washing our clothes in the shower in our biggest cooking pot. We don´t really have access outside for hanging clothes to dry, so we´ve gotten creative using the windows in our apartment. The breeze is nice...and so is the view!
